Mio me
Hand Made Pet Accessories
♥ With designing and sewing our *Mio's*, a dream comes true!
Working creative, with people and their beloved, four-legged family members is what I LOVE...
I am deeply thankful for all the support and for the success *Mio me* already experienced in its first year! It means the world to me to see *Mio me* grow steadily, in its third year by now!
♥ *Mio me* offers beautiful and unusual, but yet practical cat- and dog-beddings, useful dog clothing, unique collars and matching leashes, beautiful harnesses, handy treats pouches, and fun toys! Every single *Mio* is hand made with loads of love and attention to detail! We are proud to produce every *Mio* right here in Namibia!
Thanks to the four-legged members of the *Mio me*-team, every bedding is stress tested on quality and comfort before it finds its way into your homes!
*Mio me* started as M.I.O., an abbreviation for 'Made in Otavi', where the first *Mio*s were produced from 2013 to 2014. Lena founded it as a project with which we tried to raise money to cover the expenses of the cats that we adopted from the SPCA in Windhoek, the Cat Protection Society, or found in struggling in the streets. During our 18 months in Otavi, we fostered about 30 street kittens and cats which were found on the streets (unfortunatelly, there is no SPCA in town) and tried to find loving forever homes for them, with the help of the Cat Protection Society of Namibia. Some of them stayed with us since we could not find propper homes, or simply because we fell madly in love with these irresistable fluff balls... By now, we are a happy *Mio* family with three very special cats and two very special dogs and a very very special African Grey.
So much more to come...
We are always working on new designs and we still have plenty of ideas left for many, many new products and designs which will hopefully soon be realized. If only a day had more hours...

We love our products!
Without the go-ahead of our four-legged testers, nothing will become a *Mio*!
